Brushing your teeth too hard: It is a misconception that brushing hard is good for teeth cleaning which is not true. Hard rubbing of teeth can cause gum recession and enamel abrasion. Due to this, Tooth decay, tooth structure loss and sensitivity issues take place.  Therefore, avoid the hard brushing of tooth or choose electric brush along with pressure indicator.

Not spending enough time for brushing: Only brushing of your teeth is not important. The time that you consume for brushing is also important. If you don't spend appropriate time for brushing your teeth then proper removal of bacteria does not take place. It can lead to gum inflammation, bad breath, plaque deposits and cavities.

Not flossing because of blood: People don't floss due the bleeding of their gums. It is not need to worry because unhealthy gums will bleed when they are touched. The more you floss, less will be bleed and you get better oral health.

Drinking a sugary beverage at lunch: Sugary drinks can help to keep you mentally powered but impact your oral health badly. Sugars are acidic that cause chemical erosion of teeth. It also include carbohydrates that are more liked by bacteria.

Use of any toothpaste
All toothpastes are not equal and include different materials in it. Always choose a toothpaste that suite to your teeth with the suggestion of your dental health care provider.
