Maximum people prefer
only morning time for brushing teeth which is not good for the health of teeth.
According to dentists, brushing at night time is also very important because
maximum of the food debris collect on the tooth surface at night time. This is
not only the mistakes that we do in our daily life. There are a number of
mistakes that we perform daily due to the lack of awareness. We will discuss
several oral hygiene mistakes that are highlighted by famous dentist Dr Satyam Jaiswal. He is running one of the best dental clinic in Ludhiana i.e.
known as Dr Satyam’s Advanced Dental Care Clinic for many years. Various oral
mistakes given by Dr Satyam Jaiswal are as:
Brushing your teeth too hard: It is a
misconception that brushing hard is good for teeth cleaning which is not true.
Hard rubbing of teeth can cause gum recession and enamel abrasion. Due to this,
Tooth decay, tooth structure loss and sensitivity issues take place. Therefore, avoid the hard brushing of tooth
or choose electric brush along with pressure indicator.
Not spending enough time for brushing: Only
brushing of your teeth is not important. The time that you consume for brushing
is also important. If you don't spend appropriate time for brushing your teeth
then proper removal of bacteria does not take place. It can lead to gum
inflammation, bad breath, plaque deposits and cavities.
Not flossing because of blood: People don't
floss due the bleeding of their gums. It is not need to worry because unhealthy
gums will bleed when they are touched. The more you floss, less will be bleed
and you get better oral health.
Drinking a sugary beverage at lunch: Sugary
drinks can help to keep you mentally powered but impact your oral health badly.
Sugars are acidic that cause chemical erosion of teeth. It also include
carbohydrates that are more liked by bacteria.
Use of any toothpaste
All toothpastes are
not equal and include different materials in it. Always choose a toothpaste
that suite to your teeth with the suggestion of your dental health care
provider.
